CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
§ 1 Participation
(1) NIU is the organizer of the competition.
(2) Eligible to participate are persons of full age, who are residents of Europe or the United States.
(3) To participate:
1. Follow @NiuMobility on Instagram
2. Like the giveaway post from either October 20th or October 22nd.
3. Comment and tag at least 2 friends.
Note: There is no limit to the number of friends who can be tagged.
(4) Prizes
Top Prize: 2 x LIMITED-EDITION 10 Billion KM NQi Sport scooter + NIU Helmet
Other Prize: 6 x NIU Helmet
Note: 1 top prize is designated for a resident of the United States, and one is designated for a resident of Europe. There are no designations for the other prizes.
(5) Content posted by users during participation in the competition may be shared on NIU’s social media channels.
§ 2 Exclusion from the competition
(1) Employees of NIU are excluded from participation.
(2) NIU reserves the right to exclude from participation persons who violate these Conditions of Participation.
(3) Persons who make use of unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation are excluded. If necessary, winnings may also be withdrawn and reclaimed.
§ 3 Implementation and processing
(1) Winners will be selected at random by NIU. Top Prizes will be drawn before Other Prizes. If the second selection for Top Prize is from the same region as the first selection, the second winner will be awarded an Other Prize, and another winner will be selected for the second Top Prize. This will happen until both Top Prizes are from different regions, or all Other Prizes have been awarded. After all Other Prizes have been awarded, if the selections continue to be from the same region as the first Top Prize, the subsequent selections will be excluded until an eligible winner is drawn.
(2) The winners will be notified by NIU by private Instagram direct message after the competition ends at 11:59pm, Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 (Eastern Standard Time) and announced publicly following communication with the winners on Monday, November 1st, 2021.
(3) If the winner does not respond within 2 days of notification, their claim to the prize shall expire and a new winner shall be determined. NIU is not liable if a winner does not take note of the message in time.
(4) A cash payment of the prize or any substitute prize is in no case possible.
(5) The claim to the prize or a replacement prize cannot be assigned.
(6) After the raffle, the processing takes place exclusively in direct contact between the winner and NIU.
(7) Prizes will be shipped as soon as possible following the conclusion of the giveaway. NIU cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. Due to COVID, holiday, and other potential shipping delays NIU asks that winners remain patient.
§ 4 Premature termination of the lottery
(1) NIU reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. NIU makes use of this possibility in particular if for technical or legal reasons a proper execution of the giveaway cannot be guaranteed. The official deadline for participation is October 26th, 11:59pm EST.
(2) The closing date for entries is October 26th, 2021. All selected winners will be contacted on Instagram via private message.
§ 5 Data protection
NIU undertakes to observe all relevant statutory provisions on data protection.
§ 6 Miscellaneous
(1) Legal recourse is excluded.
(2) Chinese law is exclusively applicable.
(3) Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms of use.
(4) These terms of use can be changed at any time by NIU without separate notification.
